An investigation was opened after the organization of a rave party in an abandoned factory in Saint-Honorine-la-Chardonne, in Orne.

The party took place in the night from Saturday to Sunday on the site of the company Ferlam Technologies, report our colleagues from

.

It brought together between 200 and 300 people.

An abandoned site since 2005

After the alert given by a local resident, the gendarmes intervened on Sunday morning to put an end to the festivities.

The organizer of the rave party was quickly identified and identity, narcotics and alcohol checks were carried out by the military.

Several participants were fined.

As the regional daily specifies, the Saint-Honorine-la-Chardonne factory is regularly the scene of clandestine parties.

The site, abandoned since 2005, is however in the sights of associations and residents because it still contains asbestos fibers.
