"ISF climate", creation of 1.5 million green jobs, revaluation of salaries ... Presidential candidate Eric Piolle unveiled his program for the primary environmentalists in the daily newspapers of the EBRA group to be published Tuesday.

The mayor EELV of Grenoble promises thirty measures to "achieve climate neutrality from 2045", three days before his speech at the party's summer university, which should launch the campaign for the primary scheduled for the end of September.

Its "plan for France" contains "a climate ISF to tax the most + polluters + individuals", and plans to "drastically increase the tax on the highest incomes", notes the regional daily Le Dauphiné Libéré, of the group EBRA.

Eric Piolle is counting on the creation of 1.5 million jobs "thanks to the ecological transition" because this "can only work with a strong support from the populations", he notes.

For this, Mr. Piolle and his political platform "A certain idea of tomorrow" intend to set up a guaranteed minimum income from 18 years and a revaluation of wages "at least 10%".

The former engineer, who in 2014 became mayor of Grenoble at the head of a red-green alliance, wants to "get out of factory farming by 2030", make vegetarian options in collective catering compulsory and limit the use of synthetic fertilizer to farmers.

On the energy side, the candidate for the primary proposes to ban the installation of oil-fired boilers from 2022, stop the last coal-fired power stations in the country, develop wind power and "support the exit from nuclear power by supporting conversion".

He also wants to go further than the government by banning domestic air flights that can be done in less than 4:30 by train, against 2:30 for the climate law adopted in July.

Mr. Piolle proposes to invest an additional three billion euros per year for rail.

Its plan for public services proposes a complete return to the public's fold of network infrastructures, notably water and motorways.

Eric Piolle will face Yannick Jadot, Delphine Batho and Sandrine Rousseau during this primary.

Justice ordered the organizers to also integrate Jean-Marc Governatori.

The first round will take place from September 16 to 19 and the second from September 25 to 28.

The summer days of environmentalists will take place from August 19 to 21 in Poitiers.
