On Saturday, SMHI issued a Class 1 warning for gales over the central Baltic Sea.
The strong winds on Sunday meant that Destination Gotland's round trip between Visby and Nynäshamn was canceled.
As a result, several other ferries were delayed.

Technical problems with a ship also caused a delay during the day.
The wind decreases
According to SMHI, it is expected that the winds will subside on Sunday evening and according to Marcus Risberg, there are no plans to cancel more ferries, neither today nor tomorrow.
