His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, confirmed that the Emiratisation file, under the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is a priority in the Dubai government, and receives great attention to develop national competencies. And its development, in accordance with an approach that ensures speedy achievement, and ensures that all Emirati cadres obtain the jobs they aspire to as a main pillar of a decent life.

This came during His Highness chairing the meeting of the UAE Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, which was held at the headquarters of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. With companies and institutions operating in the private sector and free zones, to develop opportunities to attract Emirati competencies, coordinate with the educational sector to link education outputs with the requirements of the labor market, and provide academic guidance programs for students towards future specializations required by the emirate’s plan, which will enhance the Emiratisation process.

His Highness also called, within the framework of this national orientation, on the members of the Council to make all efforts to provide job opportunities for citizens, and to give them all the support required to achieve more achievements in various vital and strategic sectors.

His Highness said: “The Emiratisation file is at the forefront of the files that the leadership attaches special importance, and we are currently dealing with this file according to a new thought, based on addressing challenges in a radical way, and supported by policies and legislation that guarantee accelerating the Emiratisation process, and making the most of the national competencies looking for job opportunities. promising.”

His Highness pointed out that the people of the Emirates have proven their high ability to assume responsibility and excel in all sectors, and we are proud of the achievements made by them, but today we stand on the threshold of a stage whose borders are beyond space, and we look forward to doubling job opportunities for Emirati cadres in various fields of work.

His Highness added: "We look forward to the concerted efforts of all sectors in the Emirate of Dubai, with the aim of creating job opportunities for Emirati cadres, and empowering national competencies for the requirements and directions of the future, and we trust the commitment of our private sector to support this file based on its patriotic sense."

His Highness, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, stressed that the UAE will always remain a land of giving and opportunities for all, and a vast space for the best minds, young talents and promising energies that take the UAE as a second country, and its fruitful contributions will remain appreciated, as it is a permanent partner in the development process in the UAE.

This is the first meeting to be held by the UAE Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, after His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, issued Decree No. (27) of 2021 regarding the formation of the Council.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Council, Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, the Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Government of Dubai, Abdullah Al Basti, the Director General of the Human Resources Department in the Government of Dubai, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi, the Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, Dr. Abdullah Al Karam, and the Director General Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hamad Buamim, Secretary General of the Free Zones Council, Dr. Muhammad Al Zarooni, Deputy Director General of the Economic Department in Dubai, President of Dubai University, Ali Ibrahim, a representative of Zayed University, a representative of Emirates Airlines, and a representative of Emirates Bank Dubai National, and a representative of the Al-Futtaim Group.
