To date, more than 700 people have been confirmed dead in a major earthquake in Haiti, a Caribbean island nation.

In addition, many injured people were injured, and the US government decided to dispatch an emergency relief team.

On the 14th of this month, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck western Haiti, causing damage such as the collapse of buildings over a wide area.



Only 15 days after the quake, the Haitian government announced that 724 people had been killed and about 2,800 were injured so far.
