Only nineteen fires are still active in 10 wilayas.

There, civil protection teams continue to fight against the flames, especially in Béjaïa and El Tarf.

But in Tizi Ouzou, the area most affected since the start of the crisis, there are only two fires still in progress.

Still, the heat wave that has fanned the flames all week makes the work of civil protection difficult.

National services today announced a new peak reaching 44 ° C in northern Algeria.

In Kabylia as in the rest of the country, the time has now come to take stock and mourn.

On Saturday August 14, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune visited the wounded hospitalized in Algiers.
