A famous zoo in Lebanon was severely attacked by the pioneers of social networking sites because of a provocative behavior that harms animals, demanding that those responsible be punished.

The zoo has a glass box that allows visitors to crawl into the lion's enclosure to tease and frustrate it up close, as it is part of a promotion offering "memorable face to face lion".

In a related context, the director of the Association "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals" in the United Kingdom, Elisa Allen, attacked the zoo, saying: "Shame on this lousy zoo for treating animals as nothing more than living exhibits."

"It is clear that this striking interaction infuriates the lion, and it urges all those who oppose cruelty to stay away from this facility and others, who rob the animals of meaningful lives, condemning them to endure stress and desperation for the sake of human entertainment."

On the other hand, a wave of vitriolic criticism of the zoo's behavior towards animals, after circulating a video clip from inside it showing two women inside a glass box trying to annoy an adult lion through provocative movements, through the zoo's official account on the Instagram photo and video sharing site.
