Earlier this year, a World Health Organization (WHO) investigative team who participated in the investigation into the cause of COVID-19 in China exposed the background behind the creation of the WHO joint report at the time, raising the possibility of a 'Wuhan laboratory leak'.

According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Dr. Peter Ben Embarek appeared in a documentary titled 'Virus Mystery' that aired on TV2, a Danish public broadcaster the day before, and talked about the conflict with a Chinese research team at the time of the study.

At the time of the investigation earlier this year, Dr. revealed that at the time of the investigation, the Chinese research team objected to the report linking the origin of COVID-19 to the Wuhan laboratory.

"At first they didn't want the report to have anything to do with the lab," he said.

In March, the WHO announced in a joint report after a four-week investigation in China that it was extremely unlikely that the coronavirus had leaked from a Chinese laboratory.

After 48 hours of discussion, the Chinese research team backed down by commenting on the matter, but instead put it up on condition that they recommend not conducting further research on the hypothesis, the doctor said.

He also said that lab personnel interacting with bats are likely to be the first to be infected, opening up the possibility of a lab leak, which the WHO had dismissed.

"The hypothesis that the virus was brought into Wuhan by an employee who was accidentally infected while taking a sample from the field is a probable scenario," said Dr Embarek. claimed.

Also, referring to the fact that he came across while talking with Chinese researchers, Dr. said, "It is interesting that the laboratory was moved in December 2019." He said, "It is at this time that Corona 19 started." He inferred a connection between the two. I did.

The purpose of explanation is that the conclusion that the WHO previously announced 'the theory of Chinese laboratory origin is extremely unlikely' does not mean that it is 'not likely'.

Dr. Embarek also stressed the need to seek more information about laboratories operated by the Wuhan Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
