  • Justice Certified Covid: Galicia receives the endorsement of Justice;

    Andalusia and Cantabria, no

  • Measures Galicia is reaffirmed in the Covid passport and is doomed to the closure of the hotel business if the Justice knocks it down

The Superior Court of Justice of Galicia has taken less than 24 hours to rule on the use of the "Covid passport" to access the interior of hotel establishments and, in line with what happened in Andalusia, Cantabria and the Canary Islands, has denied its use for such end.

The magistrates, as reported by judicial sources, have notified the operative part of the order on Saturday morning, the full content of which "will be released in the coming days."

There are two scenarios that the Xunta de Galicia began to outline after the Galician High Court annulled the obligation of the "Covid passport" to access the interior of the hotel business on Thursday.

Specifically, the return of that formal document, now unviable, or the return of the capacity prior to its use.

The chronometer was started on Friday when the legal services of the Government of Alberto Núñez Feijóo asked the judicial body for the mandatory endorsement under the protection of the sanitary foundation, of the supremacy of the general interest as regards the protection of public health. .

The proposal has not been accepted.
