In the garden at Lilla Ulfåsa, the house where the Fogelstad Group ran its female civic school, the Fogelstad Initiative organizes a suffrage festival to celebrate one hundred years of female suffrage and once again inaugurate the building as a place where women can meet, discuss and read courses.

- Today is a fantastic day.

Finally, we will celebrate a hundred years of female suffrage.

Finally, we inaugurate Lilla Ulfåsa as the women's civic school at Fogelstad again, says Tjia Torpe, chairman of the Fogelstad Foundation.

During the festival, Lisa Wahlbom's new film "First Five" was also shown, as the film is about the first five female members of parliament in Sweden.

Parts of the film were shot at Lilla Ulfåsa.

The film can be seen on SVT Play on 12 September.
