Paris SG, who led 3-0 after 27 minutes, finally beat Strasbourg (4-2) after the presentation to the public of summer recruits including Lionel Messi, while Lille sank (0-4) against Nice and its former trainer Christophe Galtier, Saturday during the 2nd day of L1.

In an incandescent and packed Parc des Princes for the first time in almost a year and a half, PSG had a historic evening with its Argentinian superstar in the stands, but the RCSA almost spoiled the party!

The evening had ideally started with a short ceremony to present the "Galactics" recruited this summer by the Parisian club: successively, Achraf Hakimi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos and finally Lionel Messi, welcomed like a king, came to greet the supporters under the fireworks one hour before kick-off.

Star striker Kylian Mbappé, on the other hand, was whistled by fans of the Parc des Princes at the time of the announcement of the team compositions, in the midst of a soap opera around his future in the capital.

On the field, Mauricio Pochettino's players quickly opened the scoring by Mauro Icardi (3rd), before widening the gap in quick succession thanks to a goal against his camp by Ludovic Ajorque (25th), who deflected a shot from Mbappé, then a goal from Julian Draxler, ideally served by "Kyky" (27th).

But upon returning from the locker room, the Alsatians regained hope by reducing the score by Kévin Gameiro (53rd), a former Parisian, then Ajorque (65th).

Finally, shortly after the exclusion of Alexander Djiku (81st), Pablo Sarabia sealed the Parisian victory after a superb job by the untenable Mbappé (86th).

With two victories on the clock, PSG has already taken the lead in the championship, while Strasbourg will have to wait to open its counter.

A few hours earlier, the reigning French champion from Lille was humiliated in front of his audience by Christophe Galtier's OGC Nice, who was warmly welcomed by Stade Pierre-Mauroy less than three months after guiding Losc towards an unexpected crowned in Ligue 1.

A week after miraculously snatching a draw from Metz (3-3), Losc again made more mistakes and was severely punished.

Best defense in the championship last season, Lille sinks in this area with already 7 goals conceded in two matches, almost a third of the total recorded in 38 days during the last exercise (23).

The Aiglons knocked out the Mastiffs from the start by scoring two goals in less than five minutes, by Kasper Dolberg (1st) then Hicham Boudaoui (5th).

The Northerners tried to get their heads out of the water, but they were sorely lacking in the face of very attractive Azureans.

Amine Gouiri, from the penalty spot, killed the suspense just before half-time (45th + 4), while Dolberg offered himself a double header from a corner against apathetic Lille (64th).

With only one point in two games, Losc, already relegated to five lengths from the Parisian leader, is only 16th before Sunday's matches.

One month before entering the Champions League, Lille displays a very worrying face.
