Despite criticism from civil society and Nobel Peace Prize winner Denis Mukwege on the profile of the coordinator of the new Disarmament, Demobilization, Community Recovery and Stabilization (DDRCS) Program, Félix Tshisekedi maintains Tommy Tambwe.

Donors rely on communities
On the donor side, the emphasis is on the program.
We are delighted with the relaunch of DDR, but we are emphasizing the community recovery aspect, that is to say, taking charge of victims and communities.
The World Bank, for example, has prepositioned $ 50 million for certain activities related to DDRCS.
An amount that will be managed by the Social Fund of the Republic and which will be directly intended for communities, we reassure on the side of the World Bank.
This fund will only be activated when all stakeholders are ready.
