During the summer, about 40 nurses and assistant nurses in intensive care entered into the crisis agreement.
Above all, it has been about Ryhov County Hospital, but also some in Värnamo.
The measure was introduced earlier during the pandemic to cope with the staffing when the covid pressure on care was at its worst.
The measure has meant tough schedules for the employees, but now the region expects to be able to return to a normal situation.
- It has been extremely tiring for the staff, so it is welcome that we can now terminate the agreement, says HR manager Patrick Nzamba to SVT Nyheter Jönköping.
Region Jönköping County is the last of all regions in the country to remove the agreement.
Formally, Sweden's municipalities and regions, SKR, will decide on the closure, but this is seen as a mere formality.
