  • Green pass in the canteen, 2 hours of strike in the Turin company

August 12, 2021 One week after the compulsory Green pass becomes mandatory, the first sanctions begin to arrive, while the main Italian cities are preparing to intensify checks in view of the Ferragosto. The first fines arrived in Treviso and Milan, in the first case because they were found without a green certificate in a betting room and, in the second, because a customer of a gym used another person's pass. Then, even the protests do not seem to subside, with appeals against the "health dictatorship" bouncing from one social network to another.

In the coming days, the people of the "no Green Pass" will return to the streets again, as will the activists of the Io Apro movement, who have always been against the requirement of a certificate. With Ferragosto at the door,

the indication by the Interior Ministry is to intensify controls

, albeit with discretion, entrusting the various prefectures with the task of organizing the use of the police in the area. Particular attention will obviously be paid to the main holiday resorts, especially taking into account that the discos are still closed and which consequently increases the risk of gatherings on beaches, streets or nightlife squares. The

goal is to ensure compliance with anti-Covid regulations,

from distancing to the obligation to

wear

masks indoors, up to the verification of the Green pass. And so, in Milan, a 20-year-old was fined by the police because he was using a certificate that was not his own.

The boy, who now also risks being reported if the document is falsified, had been recognized by the owner of the gym who, faced with the refusal to give explanations, preferred to call the agents. Also in Milan, a 68-year-old was fined and denounced for resisting a public official after refusing to demonstrate the Green pass. The man had managed to sneak into the open-air cinema 'Arena Milano Est', in the Lambrate area, despite the attempt to stop him by the space managers, who eventually alerted the police. In Treviso, five customers of a betting parlor were found without the Green pass and will now have to pay a fine ranging from 400 to 1,000 euros, as required by law.in Padua where a 46-year-old Tunisian was turned away by the police after trying several times to sit in a bar despite not having the green certification.

The man received a deportation order and was transferred to the repatriation center in Gradisca d'Isonzo.

It is still discussed, then, the obligation of the pass in the canteens

. Tomorrow the 650 employees of Hanon Systems of Campiglione Fenile, a Turin-based company specializing in electronic components, will go on strike for two hours against the provisions that, denounce the unions, discriminate against workers on the basis of their vaccination status.

Opposite situation in the canteens of the armed forces and police forces where, on the other hand, the staff on duty will not have to have the Green pass to be able to access it. In fact, in a series of circulars and directives, the canteen is equated with a "service activity" that cannot be precluded and, therefore, there is no obligation to pass which, however, remains for access to bars and restaurants, "for consumption only at the table, indoors", and to be able to take advantage of swimming pools, gyms and team sports, always indoors, in military structures.

From its official Twitter account, the Interior Ministry announces that yesterday, as part of the checks on compliance with the anti-Covid legislation, checks were carried out on 72,890 people. Of these, 19 were sanctioned and 42 reported. 5,853 commercial activities also inspected, 22 sanctioned owners. Arranged 2 closures.

But the protests are multiplying especially on social networks where

the "no Green pass" groups continue to gather memberships

from hour to hour reporting places, bars and restaurants that do not ask for the certificate. An alleged "health self-certification" is also beginning to circulate in the Facebook groups which, according to the most passionate activists, would replace the document envisaged by the government. To certify it would also be some self-styled lawyers, whose names are indicated as "points of reference" for the entire "movement". Meanwhile, for next 28 August, Forza Nuova - which with its leader Roberto Fiore made it known that it had denounced Conte and Draghi in 140 prosecutors - has gathered the demonstrators in Piazza del Popolo. Demonstration in which the Io Apro movement will not participate this time, which, on the other hand, is still choosing an upcoming date to return to protest against the government's decisions.

Unions do not sign safety protocol

No signing of the Protocol on school safety for now by the unions in view of the start of the school year. This is what emerges at the end of the meeting held today between trade unions and the technicians of the Ministry of Education. Criticalities, according to what is learned, would have arisen in relation to the Green pass, the checks, the swabs and the distancing in the classroom. The document must be approved by August.

On the table a series of critical issues that will have to be addressed in order to reach an agreement by the end of the month. First of all, Green pass: for the unions there are still knots to be solved related to the green certification, mandatory for school staff, starting with the controls. "Who will carry out this activity? Will the administrative staff be involved?", The questions posed today during the discussion carried out in videoconference. Also on the aspect linked to privacy there are elements to be evaluated and for the unions a passage to the Guarantor would be necessary, as well as, according to the category acronyms, elements of clarity are also needed on the pads, especially for that slice of teachers who will decide to not join the vaccination campaign. They will be responsible for carrying out tests every three days,an activity that has a cost. Some acronyms ask that it is not the employee to take over and, in some cases, provide for the possibility of free test quotas. "There are some gaps that need to be worked on", said the secretary of the CISL Scuola, Maddalena Gissi, at the end of the meeting. Everything has been updated after August 15th, also with regard to the issue related to distancing.
