It was in May last year that a man was shot to death on a playground in Råslätt.

The man, who was in his 40s, had links to gang crime.

A large number of people witnessed the incident.

Three men were arrested after the act, arrested but later released.

One of the suspects was re-arrested in August last year and was detained for a total of about 2.5 months.

105,000 in damages

The man who was arrested was suspected of the murder for probable cause, but was later released for lack of evidence. The Chancellor of Justice has now decided that all three men will receive damages for the time in custody. Two of the men receive SEK 21,000 each, while the third man, who was detained the longest, receives SEK 105,000.
