This Wednesday, the Lyon firefighters intervened in Oullins (Rhône), at the confluence of the Rhône and the Yzeron.

, a man, aged around 40 according to witnesses, and his 10-year-old nephew were in great difficulty in the water after trying to retrieve a balloon that had fallen into the river.
When help arrived, the 40-year-old was in cardio-respiratory arrest and could not be saved.
The 10-year-old child was transported to the Woman Mother-Child Hospital in Bron in critical condition.
He is currently in serious condition.
