“Today a meeting was held with Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, who paid a working visit to the Republic of Moldova ... They reaffirmed our commitment to a pragmatic, constructive dialogue in the interests of our citizens,” Sandu wrote in her Telegram channel.

She noted that during the negotiations with Kozak, a number of important topics were discussed, such as the export of Moldovan agricultural products to the Russian market and a new contract for the supply of gas to Moldova.

In addition, the parties discussed the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict.

“We have an extensive bilateral agenda with Russia and many topics of mutual interest to our states and citizens,” concluded Sandu.

Earlier it was reported that Kozak discussed with Sandu cooperation on the elimination of ammunition from Transnistria.

Also, Russia and Moldova agreed to remove trade barriers.
