Restricting entry to public places to 3 categories in Abu Dhabi, starting next week

The decision to exclusively enter a number of public places in Abu Dhabi on the two restaurants approved by the Committee for the Management of Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Resulting from the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will enter into force next week, as it will start working on August 20.

According to the decision, the restaurant, and those who are excluded and under 16 years old, will be allowed exclusively to enter shopping centers, restaurants and cafes, halls, sports activities, health resorts, recreational centers and facilities, and shops, including stores outside shopping centers, with the exception of supermarkets and pharmacies.

The decision also includes museums, cultural centers, universities and institutes, schools and nurseries. 

The committee had issued the decision to enhance safety levels in areas that were subject to a series of precautionary measures and measures and to provide greater protection for community members.

The decision does not apply to non-vaccinated people who have obtained an exemption from vaccination, according to the approved procedures, whose condition appears on the “Al-Hosn” application.

The decision came to exclusively enter a number of public places for the vaccinators, to complete the preventive and precautionary measures to preserve public health, and after vaccinating more than 93% of the target groups in the emirate.
