A 34-year-old Albanian worker crashed in Empoli in the afternoon from a window on the second floor of a building where construction works were in progress.
When 118 arrived, the man was already dead.
The body was transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Careggi (Florence) at the disposal of the prosecutor for the autopsy.
Police investigations are underway on the episode.
To be clarified if there were others when the man fell and if he worked in the house on a regular basis.
The ASL inspectors also intervened.
