Four targeted containers

The container, where the drug was hidden, was filled with bananas, according to the Dunkirk prosecutor's office, which relinquished jurisdiction in favor of the specialized interregional jurisdiction (Jirs) of Lille.

According to the local newspaper, the goods were stored in 25 boxes arranged on a single pallet and customs officers had targeted four containers in the morning, including the one containing cocaine.

The value of the goods seized represents several tens of millions of euros.
