This was announced by one of the authors of the initiative, the head of the Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Yaroslav Nilov in Telegram.

"It is proposed to establish a minimum wage from January 1, 2022 in the amount of 20,000 rubles per month," the document says.

As noted, the bill was prepared in order to help the most vulnerable citizens of Russia to get out of poverty and misery.

Earlier it was reported that the prospect of raising the minimum wage (minimum wage) to 13,617 rubles from next year will affect 4.7 million workers in Russia.
