In the past year, housing prices in Sörmland have risen steadily.

But a slowdown is now beginning to be felt, especially with regard to condominiums.

In Nyköping, however, the prices of condominiums have increased by two percent in the last three months and house prices by almost ten percent.

Hard pressure on villas

As far as holiday homes are concerned, too few have been sold in Nyköping in the last three months to get a representative sample, but over a one-year period, the price increase is close to 14 percent.

And house prices have risen by more than 34 percent in the past year.

- Throughout 2021, there has been a huge demand, especially on the residential side.

We see this mainly because many people move out of Stockholm, says Emma Winblad von Walter, real estate agent and office manager at Svensk fastighetsförmedling in Nyköping.
