The most beautiful new era revolutionary soldier

  "Wolf War" assault

: Liu Jin, commander of a special operations brigade of the 76th Army Group Army

In a special operations brigade of the 76th Army, Battalion Commander Liu Jin’s figure is best to recognize: 1.81 meters tall and thin, with the darkest skin, the loudest voice, and a faintly visible scar on the brow bone of his left eye.

In this brigade, special forces with outstanding performance will be awarded the title of "Sirius Warrior", and Liu Jin is called "Wolf Head".

In the 17 years of his enlistment, he has completed more than 10 major tasks such as international competitions, various military and army competitions, and joint exercises between China and foreign countries. He has won 2 second-class merits and 5 third-class merits. "Advanced individuals in military training throughout the army."

What witnessed the birth of many honours were more than 20 scars, both large and small, left during training.

Li Pengfei, captain of the eighth company of special operations, commented when introducing him, "If you want to know what special forces are like, you can take a look at Liu Jin."

Among the scars all over the body, the most dangerous one is on the brow bone, which was left by Liu Jin during his second year in the army in 2005.

At that time, the company was researching downhill subjects, and the superior Liu Jin took the initiative to ask Ying to be the first to try the emergency downhill maneuvers.

He tied the rope behind his back, jumped directly from a cliff, and leaped down in a "big" shape.

Halfway down the descent, a wild camel spur suddenly caught the rope. Liu Jin lost control of his movements. In an emergency, he thrust his hand back into the ring and buckled it, so he avoided falling directly to the ground, but his head slammed into the side. Piece of rock.

"Another 0.1 second later, I might be dead. But this is called'emergency'. What I practice is what to do in critical situations." Now Liu Jin smiled and touched the scars, and said proudly, "Neither regret nor Be afraid".

"Desperate" is Liu Jin's consistent training "style".

When he was in the new barracks, Liu Jin used the lunch break and the hour after the lights were turned off for training.

After 3 months of training, Liu Jin scored a perfect score of 50 rings in the shooting test, and was awarded the first third-class merit in his life.

"On the training ground, you can fulfill your mission on the battlefield." This is Liu Jin's mantra for more than 10 years.

In his mind, "special forces were born for the battlefield", everything is for the day when they are on the battlefield.

In 2012, Liu Jin participated in the joint training mission of Jordan International Joint Exercise.

During the mission, he "wrapped" about the commander of the party to inquire about actual combat experience, exchanged the gains during the day, and compiled the book at night to study and innovate "Chinese style of play".

Jordanian officers and soldiers were dispatched urgently after receiving the task at 3 in the morning, and Liu Jin also got up from the bed and followed to watch.

After returning to China, he compiled a summary of his experience into a report, based on which he improved a number of operational procedures for actual combat missions, greatly improving the efficiency of company training.

The closest match to actual combat was in 2017, when Liu Jin led his team to participate in the Pakistan International "Team Spirit" competition. This was also the first time that the Chinese Army participated in the competition.

He led 7 players to compete with 14 elite teams from 6 other countries. The venue of the game was a virgin forest. "Everything is unknown. Walking into the field is like walking into the battlefield."

Soon, many trials made Liu Jin fully feel the taste of the battlefield.

On the first night, the team walked to the edge of a cliff, and the mission point was on the opposite bank.

The dark gorge has no bottom, and the map on the bottom of the valley is blank. If you take a detour, you must take at least 20 kilometers of mountain roads. It is difficult to reach the end within the specified time.

Li Pengfei was in the team that day. He remembered that it was almost 12 o'clock in the night and the team members were exhausted.

The humid and sultry jungle and the harsh environment where wild beasts may be infested at any time have caused many people to retreat.

After Liu Jin found out, he called everyone together.

Before departure, the organizer had handed each team a siren with an electronic positioning system on it. If they were in danger, they could call for help at any time, which also meant to withdraw from the game.

Standing on the edge of the cliff, Liu Jin took out the sirens and pulled the wires in front of the team members.

"We are Chinese soldiers. We don't know what giving up is. Either die or go out with me!" Liu Jin finished speaking, and took the lead to climb down the cliff.

The fighting spirit of the players was instantly ignited.

Li Pengfei still remembers the scene of that day. Liu Jin was at the forefront of the team, holding a machete to cut through the thorns, moving forward step by step in the dark night, and the whole team followed behind.

Everyone was drawn with blood stains from the branches, but no one backed away.

After three days and two nights, the Chinese team reached the finish line first and won the championship.

When the Chinese national anthem sounded when the awards were presented, the players cried with excitement.

Li Pengfei later recalled: "If you were really on the battlefield, Liu Jin would be the one who could shout, "Look at me, follow me."

A lot of experience in martial arts competitions was also brought back to the training ground by Liu Jin.

After returning from Pakistan, he and the participating team members spent half a month collating and summarizing and forming a summary report with more than 10,000 words, which was later revised into training materials and promoted throughout the trip.

More competition experience is directly reflected in the "devil-like training."

Nicknamed "The Devil Coach", Liu Jin is known for his "cruel and cruel, ruthless" training. He carried out the "Devil Week" training camp throughout the brigade, bringing back the special feelings encountered in each competition to the training ground, and the difficulty of the courses set up continued to increase. : 10 kilometers of quagmire marching with heavy loads, crossing tear gas, survival in the wild, eating scorpion lizards, and conducting anti-cold training in ice water...

In 2018, the brigade organized the "Sirius Training" of the leading special forces, and Liu Jin served as the chief instructor.

Mi Qian, the acting platoon leader of the women's special combat training team, participated in the training. Later, she joked that it was a period of "hell-like days."

The 10-kilometer-long quagmire was mixed with garbage and excrement, and the tear gas thrown on the shore made the training team members burst into tears.

Mi Qian couldn't forget the scream of the chief coach Liu Jin beside the team: "If this is a battlefield, do you want to be clean and save face, or do you want to climb over to complete the task?"

"I didn't understand at the time. I was forced to collapse again and again. I really hated him." Mi Qian recalled with a smile.

But after the training, she and her comrades hugged Liu Jin, "After experiencing it once, you will know the importance of actual combat. He helped us complete the transformation in the extreme challenge and told us what to do when we are on the battlefield."

Although the title of "devil coach" makes people "faint", the officers and soldiers are still very enthusiastic every time they sign up for the training camp.

"Everyone knows that if you practice with Teacher Liu, you will not only become a'Sirius', but you can become a'War Wolf'." Mi Qian said.

Liu Jin didn't mind these titles.

In his view, the important thing is not to forge a person to become a "special warfare sharp knife", but to bring out a special forces team that "everyone is a sharp knife".

"What I want to train is a group of special war fighters who can fight. As long as I can win, I can do anything!" the "devil coach" said firmly.
