"Naughty" .. shaved his wife's hair and forced her to beg.. and the Egyptian prosecution referred him to the felonies
On Tuesday, the Egyptian Public Prosecutor, Counselor Hamada El-Sawy, ordered the referral of the accused, known as “Mohamed Shaqawa,” to the Alexandria Criminal Court, to be tried in the case of torturing his wife, detaining her and forcing her to beg with her and his children.
According to the list of evidentiary evidence in the case, the prosecution charged the accused with naughty charges of detention, torture, human trafficking, beating and injury, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper.
The Muharram Bey Prosecution Office in Alexandria had begun an investigation into the incident, and the victim, Shaimaa El-Sayed, 36, said that her story began 15 years ago when she separated from her first husband and was associated with her current husband, “naughty.” She explained in the investigations that she was good in building a family and raising Her child is the fruit of her first marriage.
Shaima added that her husband owned a taxi and gave birth to 5 children from him. Then she discovered that he was addicted to drugs and alcohol, and began to beat her, then squandered all his possessions and sold the marital apartment, and they moved to live in a “new law” apartment and then sold the taxi.
And she continued: Things developed during the last five years, as her husband began to intensify the beating and assault of her and her children, then forced her to beg to save the price of drugs, and when she initially refused, he assaulted and tortured her and threatened to kill her. .
She explained: "He used to beat me and my five children, whom I left behind, so that we would go out and beg to get him cigarettes and he would also know how to take drugs that he was accustomed to, and I am a graduate of a technical institute, but I was forced with my children to beg in order to provide the money for the need that he wanted."
Shaima indicated that she spent the last 5 years in endless torture, which started with beatings and then assaulting her with white weapons and sharp instruments and causing many wounds to her body, pointing out that matters developed after Eid al-Adha and reached their climax, after he tore her hair off her head and then shaved it "Zero" and did not He was satisfied with that, but stripped her of her clothes, hit her and urinated on her face.
She confirmed that the husband kept her in the apartment, which he turned into a torture cellar, until her mother was able to inform the police, who succeeded in liberating her, arresting the husband, issuing a report on the incident and referring it to the Public Prosecution.
According to the investigations of the Public Prosecution, the police succeeded in liberating the wife from the apartment she resided in on Al-Safa and Al-Marwa Street in Ezbet Al-Subhia area, Muharram Bek Police Department, and the husband was arrested, and some machines used in the torture process were seized.
The Public Prosecution ordered the imprisonment of the husband on charges of human trafficking, and the Public Prosecution listened to the statements of the victim and received the forensic report on the medical examination of the victim.
The report emphasized that "the wounds described on the victim's body are permissible, according to her version."
