Al-Hroub, whose face showed signs of fatigue as he searched for shelter for his family of eight, after the occupation demolished all his property: “All the residents of (Khirbet Ibziq) are besieged from all directions, by the occupation army camps and the apartheid wall, and they are deprived of services. Basic and the minimum basic necessities of living, such as infrastructure, paved roads, and water and electricity networks.”

Al-Hroub added: “The people of al-Khirbet live inside tents of cloth, and face harsh humanitarian scenes in their daily lives, especially in terms of the health situation, as (Ibziq) lacks a health clinic, and the nearest health center is located in the city of Tubas, eight kilometers away.” .

He points out that the occupation prevents residents from building on their land in Khirbet Ibziq, explaining that the occupation forces all lands in the area to be closed military, for the purpose of establishing training camps.

The official of the Jordan Valley file in Tubas Governorate, Moataz Bisharat, said in an exclusive interview with "Emirates Today": "On the morning of last Wednesday, representatives of the Israeli Civil Administration and soldiers from the occupation forces (Khirbet Ibziq), with them, bulldozers, military vehicles and workers to carry out the demolition, and over the course of a period Five hours straight, they carried out massive demolitions and total confiscation.”

He points out that during the implementation of the massive demolition, the forces demolished nearly 20 residential facilities, as well as dismantled sheep pens, solar cells, and water tanks, and confiscated several agricultural tractors and private vehicles for the original residents of Khirbet.

Over the past years, the Khirbet Ibziq community has been demolished more than once, for security reasons, considering it a nature reserve and an archaeological site. The occupation also confiscated parts of the Khirbet lands, and built sections of the apartheid wall on other parts.
