A seasonal cook in Saint-Tropez was caught with just over 300 grams of cocaine he kept at his home, reports

It was a refusal to obey a road check that led the police to the home of the fugitive.

Inside it, the authorities discovered 10,000 euros in cash, 306 grams of powder and a little weed.

During his immediate appearance, his claimed quality as a simple consumer "who takes drugs to keep up with the pace" did not convince the court which decided to keep him in detention.

The individual was sentenced to twelve months in prison, four of which were accompanied by a probationary suspension and a ban on appearing in the Var for two years.
