Dream landscapes and hellish pollution.

In 2020, the Calanques National Park recorded three million visitors.

So much traffic involves a lot of waste often left behind by tourists.

The Clean my Calanques association has therefore mobilized to clean the creeks and rocks and make visitors aware of this problem: “It's often dirty and there are lots of things floating on the surface or in the water.

Sometimes, we have the impression that there is something that touches us, but it's not a fish, it's a waste.

".

Since 2017, volunteers have collected no less than 32 tonnes of waste.

To fight against the overcrowding, the Park will set up a reservation system in 2022 to limit visits.

Every day, only 400 to 600 people will be able to go to the Calanque de Sugiton, which is the most frequented.
