A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of a woman in an apartment in Orminge in Nacka east of Stockholm.
The woman has suffered serious injuries, the police write on their website.
- She was really beaten but we could still talk to her before she was taken away in an ambulance, police spokesman Ola Österling told TT.
It was neighbors who sounded the alarm when they heard the beating that occurred at 5pm on Monday.
The crime scene is cordoned off and forensic scientists will investigate it.
