09 August 2021 Sicily and Calabria are the two regions with the highest occupancy rate of beds in the infectious disease, internal medicine and pulmonology wards. In two days Sicily is at 13%, Calabria at 11%. Percentages still below the 15% threshold indicated as one of the main parameters for the color change of the regions. Therefore, the data of the daily monitoring of the National Agency for Regional Health Services (Agenas), frame a situation where the virus seems to be circulating in the center-south.
The national level is 5%. Four regions increase by 1%, they are: Calabria, with 11%, Tuscany, 5%, Piedmont at 2. Basilicata and Sardinia are at 7.
