Transported to the pediatric emergency room in Padua, all resuscitation maneuvers were attempted for a long time on the child, unfortunately without success.
The child's family resides in Limena (Padua).
The incident happened on Monday at the Conca Verde swimming pool, just before 1pm. The child, who was in the water park with his parents, was subjected to various resuscitation attempts, even with the defibrillator supplied to the sports facility. The 118 helicopter arrived on the spot, transporting the baby to the hospital but his conditions were considered very serious. The fact that during the rescue there was no sign of regaining consciousness, would suggest that the boy remained in the water without breathing for a long time. The investigations are conducted by the Carabinieri.
