More than 300 participants have since Thursday competed in over 30 different classes.

This is the third year in a row that the competition is arranged on the roads between Lekeryd and Forserum.

And the organizer is the Swedish Cycling Federation, together with a number of local cycling clubs.

- It has been very appreciated this year, and I want to thank the residents who have been very understanding, says the competition's project manager Alexander Wetterhall and refers to the fact that the roads have been closed to traffic.

Pandemic-adapted competition

To adapt the competition to the prevailing pandemic, the starting line and the goal have been blocked so that only competitors and officials enter.

The different classes have also been distributed over three days.

- On Thursday, the elite classes drove, the juniors drove on Friday and on Saturday, the veterans and para-classes drove.

That we divided the competitions is due to the pandemic and for us to be able to have an audience in place, says Alexander Wetterhall.
