It is noted that "in a day, two aircraft of military transport aviation performed five sorties, dropping 210 tons of water on the fires on the territory of the Mordovian State Natural Reserve."
“In just four days, 17 flights of Il-76 aircraft were carried out and 714 tons of water were dropped on fires in a given area,” Interfax reports.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said that two fire trains were involved to extinguish the fire in the reserve in Mordovia.
