In a glade at Axhult's disused station just south of Strömsnäsbruk, about ten people are sitting in the grass and recovering.

They have had lunch and Bishop Fredrik Modéus is holding Mass in the green.

- I want to show my support and solidarity for this project, says Bishop Fredrik Modéus.

"We have a responsibility"

Pilgrim's Walk for Future started in Vadstena on 18 June and the idea is to be in place in Glasgow on 30 October.

Then you have traveled 180 km on foot for 16 weeks.

Is it the church's business to deal with the climate issue?

- It absolutely is! We think that the earth, and all that exists, is a gift from God, and we are co-creators. We have a responsibility for this world, says Fredrik Modéus.
