sent an ultimatum to the US president, reports our correspondent in New York,

According to them, the documents held today by the FBI and the Justice Department would help to lift the veil on the possible involvement of the Saudi government. In

2016, documents hitherto classified confidential had been public

: they confirmed that American intelligence had not been able to definitively identify these links between the government of Riyadh and the terrorists.

In 2004, the 9/11 Commission of Inquiry concluded that organizations funded by Saudi Arabia were linked to the perpetrators of the terrorist attacks.

But according to her, nothing directly implicated the Saudi government: the Saudi government did not finance the hijackers, concluded the report of the parliamentary commission of inquiry, published in July 2004 after two years of hearings.
