Erdogan receives an invitation to attend the meeting of leaders of neighboring countries in Baghdad

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, the day before yesterday, that Minister Fuad Hussein handed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan an invitation from Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi to attend the meeting of leaders of neighboring countries.

A statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, published by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that Hussein handed the Turkish President an invitation from Al-Kazemi to attend the summit meeting to be held in Baghdad at the end of this month at the level of leaders of Iraq's neighboring countries.

He added that during the meeting, a set of issues related to bilateral relations and the situation in the region were discussed.

Iraq is preparing to host the first conference of regional neighbors at the end of this month, with the aim of discussing the political and security challenges facing the countries of the region.
