Abu Dhabi Health Authority: 65 dirhams for a nasal swab, urgent or normal
The Abu Dhabi Department of Health called on health facilities licensed by it to adhere to the value of the nasal swab examination (PCR) to detect the “Covid-19” virus, which amounts to 65 dirhams per sample.
This includes taking and examining the sample and issuing a report on the result, whether the service is urgent or normal.
The department confirmed stopping the activities of any facility that does not comply with the price specified for the examination when providing the service, and issuing a violation against the violating facility in accordance with the regulations and regulations in force in the emirate.
She pointed out that individuals who do not suffer from any symptoms or medical indications must cover the cost of the examination, while in other cases, the cost of the examination is covered through the programs covered by the government according to the specified value.
