While mentioning the importance of public opinion, North Korea emphasized that it should open up about the country's difficult situation to the people and persuade them to implement policies.

The Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the Workers' Party, reported in an editorial today (7th), "The stereotyped ideological project that does not recognize the objective reality and ignores the public's sentiments rather causes the consequences of causing a chronic attitude."

The Rodong Sinmun said, "In severe times, effectiveness can be maximized only when people are told about the country's situation and explained the importance of carrying out the party's decisions in conjunction with the inconveniences and difficulties they experience."

It is interpreted as the purpose of implementing the policy by persuading the residents in a situation where they are in triple trouble due to sanctions against North Korea, Corona 19, and flood damage.

The argument that we should acknowledge the reality and disclose the situation of the country to the people is also closely related to North Korea's recent move.

In the decision of the plenary meeting in August of last year, North Korea admitted to the unusual economic hardship, saying, "The goals of the national economy for growth (growth) have been greatly missed and the people's standard of living has not improved significantly."

At a plenary meeting in June this year, Chairman Kim Jong-un also mentioned that "the current food situation of the people is getting tense."
