From our correspondent in Brazzaville,

The agents of Ecair

have changed strategy

.

Instead of signs with slogans, in front of the headquarters of their company, located just in front of the Brazzaville terminal, they showed up on Saturday with all kinds of instruments that can produce a deafening noise.

“

We have come back to claim the same cause, that is to say our rights.

We came back with pots and pans so that we could make ourselves heard because since our first demonstration, the authorities have not responded to our complaints,

 ”lamented an agent.

No concrete plan from the government

All of Ecair's planes have been

grounded for five years

.

The social situation of its agents leaves much to be desired.

 We are responsible for families.

Our children are going here and there today to find something to eat.

Sometimes it is our retired parents who still come to our aid.

It's sad,

”says an employee on the verge of tears.

The agents of Ecair who claim five years of arrears of wages especially condemn the silence of the authorities.

We have been at home for five years.

And during this period, we were never contacted either by the government or by any other body,

”denounced another agent.

More than once, the government has expressed the ambition to relaunch the company Ecair without, however, presenting a concrete plan.
