A letter from the Head of State to the Tunisian President regarding bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them

 His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, sent a written message to Tunisian President Kais Saied regarding bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them, as well as issues of common concern.

The message was delivered by the diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the State, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, when the Tunisian President received him today at the Carthage Palace as part of his official visit to the Tunisian capital.

During the meeting, the diplomatic advisor to His Highness the President of the UAE, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the leadership of the UAE, to His Excellency President Saeed.

During the meeting, he stressed the good and solid historical relations between the UAE and the sisterly Republic of Tunisia, and the solidarity with the brotherly Tunisian people in this exceptional stage. He expressed the UAE's aspiration to strengthen cooperation with the Tunisian Republic in the next stage.

Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash also stressed that the UAE stands by everything that supports Tunisia's security and stability, explaining that everything related to Tunisian internal affairs is a sovereign matter.

He stressed that Tunisia is able to successfully overcome the entitlements of this stage in its economic, health and institutional dimensions. He called on the international community to stand by Tunisia in these circumstances to face its health and economic challenges.
