A car breaks into a pharmacy in Lebanon... and the security forces clarify

The page of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces published a video clip documenting the storming of a pharmacy by a woman in her car, explaining the circumstances of this incident.

And the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces in Lebanon stated, "A video is being circulated through WhatsApp and social networking sites about a woman who broke into a pharmacy in the locality of Zouk Mosbeh because she did not sell medicine."

In a statement on social media, the security forces confirmed that "after investigation by the concerned unit, it was found that a mechanical failure occurred in the car and the driver was unable to control it, which led to her entering the pharmacy."

And some Lebanese media reported that “the woman stormed the pharmacy with her car, after refusing to give her the medicine she requested, according to preliminary information.”

The video clip shows the car breaking into the pharmacy and breaking the facade, while the medical team working in the pharmacy managed to escape and survive this accident.

Lebanon is witnessing a medicine crisis, in addition to the fuel crisis, as a result of the economic conditions in the country, and the collapse of the national currency significantly against the dollar, as the country is currently suffering from economic and financial collapse, and from the Corona pandemic, as well as the catastrophic material and human impact of the explosion in the port of Beirut, which occurred a year ago.
