The Ministry of Community Development indicated that the marriage grant is disbursed under the following conditions:

The applicant and his wife must be citizens of the country.

The husband's age shall not be less than 21 years, and the wife's age shall not be less than 18 years at the time of the marriage contract.

- That the husband is unable to support the expenses of the marriage.

The grant application must be submitted within a period not exceeding six months from the date of the marriage contract.

The scholarship applicant and his wife are obligated to attend awareness sessions and lectures.

• It is allowed to apply for the scholarship again upon the death of the wife, her inability to have children, or her illness.
