Ukraine is being prepared for a general civil confrontation and partition.

This was announced on the air of the NASH TV channel by the former presidential candidate, ex-deputy of the Rada and the current leader of the OUR party Yevgeny Muraev.

According to him, radical groups have become more active in the country, which can be used by interested persons for provocations and the buildup of the situation.

“We see the mobilization of radical-minded citizens, we see how they are financed, how they stray into groups.

And I don’t want to scare anyone, but I think that they are preparing us for partition, a global civil confrontation is being prepared, ”the politician said.

However, the ex-people's deputy pointed out, the incumbent President Volodymyr Zelensky, due to his "childish thinking", does not understand and does not see this.

At the same time, Muraev admitted, in the event of armed confrontations in the country, the neighbors of Ukraine can take advantage of the situation.

“In the event of a global confrontation, everyone will“ save ”us.

The Poles will “save” Galicia, the Hungarians will “save” Transcarpathia, the Romanians will “save” Bessarabia and Bukovina, the Russians - a part of the southeast, ”Muraev said, adding that in the end only“ a small piece ”of Ukraine will remain.

Among those who finance and support radical sentiments, the ex-People's Deputy named the International Renaissance Foundation and the former head of the country Petro Poroshenko.

“Financing goes through the Vozrozhdenie Foundation.

I know that Poroshenko is gathering groups.

That is, they will play "right field", and this will take place in Kiev, and not in Donbass, "the politician emphasized.

Recall that the International Renaissance Foundation was founded in Ukraine in 1990 at the expense of the American billionaire George Soros.

The organization is also part of the international network of Open Society Foundations *.

The goals of the fund are seen as “supporting an active diverse society, determined to change Ukraine,” “creating an environment in which these changes can work,” “helping to mitigate the consequences of conflicts for Ukrainian society”.

According to the organization itself, more than $ 310 million have been invested in Ukraine since its inception.

In August 2014, Petro Poroshenko expressed gratitude to Soros for his activities in Ukraine, and a year later he presented the American with the Order of Freedom "for significant services in strengthening the international authority of Ukraine and a significant contribution to the implementation of socio-economic reforms."

"Element of political struggle"

Analysts interviewed by RT differ in their assessment of statements about the possible division of Ukraine and the mobilization of radicals.

Thus, political scientist and economist Alexander Dudchak believes that in Ukraine the preconditions for the strengthening of radical movements have existed for a long time.

“This scenario (to mobilize radicals. -

RT

) is already being implemented in Ukraine, and it has been prepared, including by the Soros Foundation, since the late 1980s.

This confrontation today goes in many directions, including ethnic, national, linguistic, cultural and historical.

It's just that after the coup d'état, it went into an open phase, ”Dudchak explained in a conversation with RT.

At the same time, Petro Poroshenko in such a situation may well have his own interest in returning to the political life of Ukraine - he has the opportunity for this, the expert added.

“Poroshenko personifies radicals.

Considering that he has developed good connections with Democrats in the United States, including Biden, such a course of events (return to politics. -

RT

) is quite likely, "Dudchak admitted.

However, according to the expert, there is no fundamental difference between Zelensky and Poroshenko, since both "play a certain role for Washington."

In turn, political scientist Andrei Suzdaltsev believes that Muraev's statement about the rocking of the situation in the country is not new and has already become commonplace for Ukraine.

“Now the politician (Evgeny Muraev. -

RT

), who opposed and continues to oppose Poroshenko, believes that he is preparing a rebellion and seizure of power with the help of external sponsors.

At the same time, in the Verkhovna Rada, almost every day, deputies declare "treason", treachery and conspiracies being prepared in relation to the authorities.

This is the usual state of the Ukrainian political environment, an element of political struggle, "Suzdaltsev said in an interview with RT.

Revival of forbidden ideologies

Nevertheless, the growth of radical sentiments and a bias towards neo-Nazi ideology was previously noted by Natalie Gulet, the deputy chairman of the commission on the Constitution and Legislation of the French Senate, who visited Kiev at the end of May this year.

In particular, she stated that the activity of extremist forces in the country “cannot but cause concern,” in connection with which she sent a request to the French Foreign Ministry about Paris’s reaction to this trend.

"Neo-Nazi parties are developing more and more visible activities, including in the center of Kiev: with shooting ranges, the practice of assembling and disassembling Kalashnikov assault rifles, as well as recruiting points for young people into the militia who openly recognize their Nazi ideology," Goulet said.

However, the French foreign ministry did not share her concerns, believing that the neo-Nazi movement in Ukraine was not so significant.

“If there are neo-Nazi groups in Ukraine, their popularity and influence is no more than in other European countries.

They have neither representation in the Rada, nor any weight in the Ukrainian government ... Thus, the activities of neo-Nazi organizations in Ukraine in no way reflect the country's general inclination, "French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian replied to the senator's letter.

According to experts, such indifference on the part of the French authorities speaks of the unwillingness of Paris to cross the road to Washington, which considers Kiev to be its sphere of influence.

The status of radicals in question

According to Andrey Suzdaltsev, it would be a mistake to consider the activity of radicals inside Ukraine insignificant.

“The neo-Nazi ideology has become more widespread, it has taken root in parliament, in the media, and in civil society.

This is worse than the presence of militants on the streets of Kiev, ”he said.

At the same time, if any new protest actions begin to develop, they will not remain unnoticed by Ukraine's neighbors, the political scientist believes.

“After all, when a coup d'etat takes place in a country, which is subsequently aggravated by a civil war and a split in society, neighboring states strive to ensure that these unrest does not spread to their territory, and at the same time are looking for options for solving their problems with this state, strengthening their national interests, positions, "- explained Suzdaltsev.

Alexander Dudchak agrees with him.

In his opinion, Poland, Romania and Hungary have an interest in some Ukrainian territories, despite the similarity of their Russophobic views with Kiev.

“Undoubtedly, their external efforts are being consolidated, and they are working with Kiev on common issues, but there is no trust between them.

Therefore, these countries have territorial claims, and if a situation arises in which local Ukrainian oligarchs are unable to contain Ukraine within its borders, these territories under certain conditions may withdraw to them, ”the political scientist said.

At the same time, the president of the Ukrainian Analytical Center, Oleksandr Okhrimenko, believes that at the moment the Ukrainian authorities have not yet decided whether they will fully use radical groups for their own purposes.

“Today, radical groups are financed by a number of Ukrainian businessmen and oppositionists, who are not yet profitable from strengthening them.

In addition, in the current situation, it is not yet clear what the role of radicals in Kiev's politics is: either they will be a controlled instrument of power, or Zelensky will clean them out, ”Okhrimenko said in a commentary on RT.

In this regard, he believes, their role in possible attempts to destabilize the situation in the country is also questionable, since the country's leadership is still busy strengthening the vertical of power.

"Now Zelensky is busy with something else - he is quite rigidly building the vertical of power, so representatives of the opposition have to make such information stuffing in order to be paid attention to," the expert summed up.
