80% of Ligue 1 matches will be on Amazon Prime Video

Amazon has obtained the broadcasting rights for 80% of Ligue 1 matches until 2024, i.e. 8 out of the 10 matches in each of the 38 days of the French Championship.

Following this contract, the American platform unveiled the launch of a new channel dedicated to the championship: Prime Video Channel.

Which Ligue 1 matches will be broadcast on Amazon Prime this weekend?

Friday August 6, 2021: 

- At 9 p.m .: AS Monaco receives FC Nantes

Saturday August 7, 2021: 

- At 5 p.m.: Olympique Lyonnais faces Stade Brestois 29 

Sunday August 8, 2021: 

- At 1 p.m.: Stade Rennais FC will be opposed to RC Lens

- At 3 p.m .: a multiplex will be broadcast to follow the four mid-afternoon matches simultaneously. 

- At 3 p.m.: you can also watch each match in full: 

  • AS Saint-Etienne who will face FC Lorient

  • FC Girondins de Bordeaux against Clermont Foot 63 

  • OGC Nice opposed to Stade de Reims

  • RC Strasbourg Alsace which receives SCO Angers 

- At 7 p.m .: Sunday evening Football: follow the first edition of the weekly magazine which will resume the summary of the first matches of the weekend.

- At 8:45 p.m .: Montpellier Hérault SC will challenge Olympique de Marseille, which will be the first poster at the top of this first day of Ligue 1.

Is there any additional content planned for the matches? 

Yes, in addition to the live broadcasts of the matches you benefit with the subscription to a program of 20 minutes before and 15 minutes after the match as well as a debrief during half-time.
