At lunchtime on Friday, the Norwegian government announced that the Västra Götaland region is once again covered by quarantine rules for entry into Norway, the newspaper Verdens Gang is the first to report on.

After the number of infections per 100,000 inhabitants exceeded the limit for free travel into Norway, more than 50 new cases in the last two weeks.

Now only the fully vaccinated and those who have been ill with covid-19 for the past six months can travel freely across the border.


Östergötland and Värmland will also be marked in orange.

Halland goes from orange to marked in red.

The entry requirements for orange areas and reds are the same.

The rules take effect from midnight to Monday.
