During the Corona epidemic, major American technology companies achieved impressive growth, large profits, and rapid recruitment of skills and competencies.

Overall, more than 300,000 open tech jobs were posted last June, including the most in-demand software and application developers, IT support professionals, project managers, systems engineers and systems analysts.

Jobs in emerging technology, such as artificial intelligence, accounted for more than a quarter of all open jobs.

Under CEO Arvind Krishna, IBM is trying to reinvent itself for the era of cloud computing, hitherto dominated by Amazon, Microsoft, Alibaba and Google.
