The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Irkutsk Region opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art.
109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Causing death by negligence due to improper performance by a person of his professional duties”).
According to the investigation, three teenagers collected ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
While collecting scrap, a 16-year-old boy climbed onto the roof of a transformer booth and grabbed electrical wires hanging from a pole, as a result of which he received an electric shock and died.
In April, in the Irkutsk region, two people were killed in a plane crash.
