Today's workshop is carried out together with the Moderna museet in Malmö and the creation has just started when SVT Nyheter Helsingborg visited.
- This year the theme is sculpture and now we have an exhibition with Zvi Goldstein who works with objects and sculpture, says Maria Westmar artist and art educator Moderna museet in Malmö.
The idea came from the children
The activity house is usually open in the afternoons for girls in Landskrona, but at the request of the participants, something new was tested.
- Sleeping over is something that the children at LAB have suggested and then we felt that we could offer a package but during the day.
Why not immerse yourself in art and sculpture together with the Museum of Modern Art in Malmö, says Emmeli Stenberg.
To promote creativity
The idea came from the fact that the Modern Museum in Malmö has a mission to meet children from all over Skåne.
LAB then invited the museum to their premises to take part in the art creation and then finish the sculpture collection at the museum.
An appreciated idea among the participants.
- When I get an idea of what material I can use, I try to see if it works or not, says Nermana Softi's participants.
Next week is a sculpture camp for boys aged nine to 13 years.
