This Friday morning in Courchevel, and for the second time in the space of two days in Savoie, a tourist plane crash took place.
This one, carrying three people, missed its landing on the station's altiport, said the prefecture of the department.
The aircraft, a light type aircraft coming from Cannes, went off the runway and caught fire on impact with the ground below.
A 63-year-old man has died.
Its two other occupants, a 31-year-old man - son of the deceased victim - and an unrelated 36-year-old man "were able to extricate themselves from the aircraft and are unharmed," the prefecture said in a statement.
Shocked, the two thirty-something were transported to the Albertville hospital center.
This Thursday, three people were killed and a fourth seriously injured in the crash of another passenger plane which had taken off earlier from Annecy.
An investigation was entrusted to the Air Accident Investigation Bureau (BEA).
