This Thursday, in Feurs (Loire), a cow managed to escape on the way to the slaughterhouse, reports France 3 Auvergne Rhône-Alpes.

While she was wandering in the town center of the town, a team of eleven Loire firefighters intervened to neutralize her using a hypodermic rifle.

But the fiery bovid does not give way. First channeled into an abandoned business, the cow manages to hide in a wooded area in the town of Forez. It took the help of the technical services staff of the municipality of Feurs to build a path through the woods using a backhoe loader. The firefighters were then able to put the beast to sleep, and bring it back to the farm.

"As she received a hypodermic arrow, it is unfit for consumption for thirty-five days", specify the firefighters of the Loire.

It remains to be seen what will happen to this cow who did not want to die.

Maybe an association will welcome her or a petition will be launched to save her in the same way as in 2015 when a heifer escaped at the gates of a slaughterhouse in the Rhône department.
