Prior to that, Zelensky said that it is a mistake to remain living in Donbass for those who consider themselves Russian.

“Instead of uniting Ukraine and its multinational people, Zelensky is throwing a stone of discord at people, finishing off the country,” Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel.

According to her, instead of fulfilling his promises of peace, the Ukrainian leader gets rid of his electorate.

Earlier, Zelensky said that Crimea "will never be Russian territory" and that Crimean cities "will return home."

Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum was held there in March 2014 - the majority of residents were in favor of reunification with Russia.
